Merton Young Faces is a vibrant photographic exhibition which tells the stories of Merton’s young people.  Secondary schools and community projects in Merton were invited to nominate students aged 15-19 years old who stand out either through sport, arts, music, drama; or because of their active involvement in the community.

Taken at iconic locations across Merton by photographer Nick Gregan and showcasing the talent and positive future of the Borough, Merton Young Faces will be exhibited in the AELTC’s Wingfield Café, from 14 September to 11 October 2015 as part of the events taking place across London to mark the 50^th anniversary of the creation of the Capital’s 32 Boroughs.

Wimbledon BookFest Director Fiona Razvi said, "We wanted to photograph young people who are making a difference and reflect the vibrancy of our borough. Each portrait tells a unique story, reflecting a different corner of the diverse community that makes Merton such an exciting place to live, work and volunteer.”
